On Wednesday, August 15th, 5PM Eastern Time, join Michelle Luhtala, Head Librarian, New Canaan High School, CT for "How to Build a Rockin’ Volunteer Program." Educators are feeling more pressed for time than ever. Federal, state and local mandates are becoming increasingly rigorous and complex, with special emphasis on standards, bullying prevention and professional evaluation. In this session, we will examine prioritization and delegation. Delegation may seem like an impossibility to many librarians, but we will explore creative ways to get more work done in less time, freeing up time to help others do the same.
